On the 22nd November 2009, Richard hosted a builders meeting at his hangar inside Bankstown Airport. As everyone arrived we enjoyed some light refreshments while looking over the RV-7a. It was a little windy but nothing that would prevent starting the engine for a run up. Richard had the aircraft pulled out of the hangar and readied as we anxiously waited for the engine to come to life, and it definately did. It sounded great and was successful. Richard will gain a certificate of airworthiness shortly to begin his test flight scheme.
